Graceful Transitions provides downsizing and moving services that eliminate the physical effort and reduce overall stress associated with moving.
Each of our clients is assigned a personal move manager to assist them every step of the way. The move manager will arrange, schedule, plan, coordinate and supervise everything associated with the move.
Graceful Transitions is known for its expertise in space planning. This special service is included as an added benefit to clients to insure all furnishings will fit comfortably and safely in their new home.
We understand that downsizing can be an emotional process. This is why we assure that a compassionate and skilled team works with our clients to minimize clutter, organize essentials, arrange donations and orchestrate the sale or auction of any unwanted possessions.
Clients are gently guided through the decision of what should stay and what can go. The team does the lifting, carrying and sorting through the basement, attic and garage. On moving day the Graceful Transitions team will unpack, put away, plug-in, check bulbs, connect the computer and other electronics, hang pictures and curtains, and make the bed. We assure that favorite possessions are in place and everything is working so that by bedtime it's beginning to feel like home.
